♿ Accessibility at NeuroNest:
Our Commitment to All Bodies & Brains
At NeuroNest Yoga, accessibility isn’t a checkbox—it’s a promise.
A trauma-informed space must include neurodivergent, disabled, fat, chronically ill, and sensory-sensitive people.
Otherwise? It’s not safe. It’s not real. And it’s not healing.
Here’s exactly how we build our nest for you—not for aesthetics, not for optics, but for access.

🧠 NEURODIVERGENCE-AFFIRMING DESIGN
You can stim, fidget, rock, pace, or lie down at any time
Sessions include verbal and written instructions
Closed captions or transcripts are provided whenever possible
Camera-on is never required
Visuals are muted and static—no fast transitions, no flashing lights
Class recordings are slow-paced with pausable sections for processing
We don’t shame. We don’t “correct.” We celebrate your regulation methods.
🧘♀️ BODY DIVERSITY & MOBILITY ACCESS
Poses are optional and always modifiable
We offer seated, bed-based, and floor-free options
No forced stillness or painful “stretch deeper” cues
You can use mobility devices, orthotics, or no movement at all
We include verbal body scans for people with chronic pain or altered sensation
Camera-off participation is welcome in all formats
Wheelchairs, fat bodies, invisible illness, chronic fatigue, limited range of motion—we make space for you.
🎧 SENSORY SUPPORT
You can use headphones, sunglasses, eye masks, or noise-canceling devices
We include sound warnings for bells, chimes, or breathwork
You may opt out of music completely and use your own playlist
We don’t use scented oils, incense, or essential oils unless requested
Fidget tools, chewing gum, pressure blankets = fully welcomed
Sensory processing isn’t “behavior.” It’s your baseline for safety.
💻 DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY
Our website includes readable fonts, alt-text, and keyboard-friendly navigation
All downloadables are screen-reader compatible
Zoom classes default to gallery off, so no surprise spotlighting
We provide tech setup support for anyone needing help accessing materials
Need another format? Just email support@neuronestyoga.com—we will get it to you in the way your body-mind receives it best.
💌 FINANCIAL ACCESS
We get it. We’ve been broke too.
We offer:
Donation-based weekly sessions
Sliding scale on private sessions (honor system—no proof required)
Community care fund to sponsor low-income clients
Monthly free content bundles (videos, audio, PDF tools)
Money will never be a barrier to your belonging.
🤝 SOCIAL & RELATIONAL ACCESS
We avoid:
Group pressure
Forced sharing
Toxic positivity
Spiritual bypassing
Binary thinking
Instead, we provide:
Gentle opt-in group chat
Facilitator attunement
No assumed gender roles or spiritual beliefs
Culturally sensitive language and trauma literacy
Final Word: Real Access Is Ongoing
We know we’ll never be perfect.
But we promise to keep learning, adapting, and prioritizing the people who’ve been left out of healing spaces for too long.
Accessibility isn’t a trend—it’s our culture.
You belong here. Just as you are. No fixing, no proving, no masking required.
