Welcome to the Nest, Farrukh!

A personal introduction from Dr Dani

There is something special about welcoming someone to your team who already embodies the care you hoped to offer.

Today, I’m happy to introduce Farrukh Jabbar, NeuroNest Yoga’s new Chief Medical Officer.

He brings experience in caring for others, a commitment to continuing his education, and a calm presence that I have personally come to know and trust.

I built NeuroNest because I needed a place that understood the whole human through grief: the mind trying to make sense of what happened, the body carrying it, and the spirit searching for somewhere to rest. As our community grows, I want the people helping me hold that space to understand why it matters.

Farrukh does.

Experience rooted in service

Farrukh served as a captain in the Pakistani Army while pursuing medical training. He brings experience caring for elderly people and supporting grieving families, alongside certifications in CPR, first aid, and bloodborne pathogens.

He is enrolling in a program to pursue Certified Nursing Assistant certification and is learning about American healthcare practices, including HIPAA and the responsibilities surrounding privacy and confidentiality.

At the heart of that work is a simple intention: he wants to help people in need.

The care I have seen firsthand

What I want you to know about Farrukh goes beyond his background.

I have experienced his patience in the way he supports me through AuDHD and CPTSD. He asks questions so he can understand. He listens without judging. He makes room for what I am experiencing without demanding that I explain it perfectly.

When you are grieving or overwhelmed, that kind of presence matters. Sometimes you need enough room to breathe before you can even find the words.

I designed NeuroNest around the care I struggled to find. In Farrukh, I have seen that care put into practice.

His role at NeuroNest

Farrukh will offer supportive consultations, help us understand health considerations affecting participation in our classes, and review health information clients choose to share. When someone needs professional medical care, he will help research and vet appropriate professionals in their area.

Farrukh does not currently hold a medical license. His role at NeuroNest focuses on education, support, and connecting people with qualified care; he does not diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical treatment.

His presence helps us respond thoughtfully when someone brings a question that falls beyond my own qualifications.

A growing Nest

NeuroNest is a community service first. Each person who joins our team helps us make that care more tangible.

If you would like to connect with Farrukh, you can request him when booking a consultation. You are welcome to bring your questions, even when you are still figuring out how to ask them.

Welcome to the team, Farrukh. Thank you for bringing your patience, your experience, and your heart to the Nest.

With care,

Dr DaniFounder, NeuroNest Yoga
