💸 How We Use Donations – Full Transparency at NeuroNest
We’re not here to exploit healing.
We’re here to resource it.
At NeuroNest Yoga, your donations and payments aren’t going into a CEO’s pocket or overpriced candles. They’re building accessible healing spaces for people who’ve been through hell and need support that doesn’t shame them for being broke, broken open, or burned out.
Here’s exactly how we use every dollar that flows into this nest.
1. 🧘♀️Sliding Scale & Free Classes
We operate on a community care model—meaning some people pay full price, some pay less, and some attend for free.
Donations allow us to:
Offer weekly free/donation-based yoga and meditation
Provide scholarships for private sessions and courses
Keep accessibility services (captions, tech tools) running

2. 🎓Content Creation & Education
Healing shouldn’t be locked behind paywalls. Your support helps us:
Produce free trauma-informed resources and blogs
Record guided meditations and practices
Create printable toolkits for neurodivergent and traumatized folx
Pay for platforms like Zoom, Canva Pro, Insight Timer, and captioning services
3. 🤝Mutual Aid & Outreach
We’ve been the person who couldn’t afford therapy, yoga, or even food—and we don’t forget.
Your donations fund:
Emergency financial relief for community members
Care kits for people in shelters or recovery
Outreach classes in underfunded schools, rehabs, or grief circles
Partnering with BIPOC-led orgs, youth centers, and mental health providers
4. 🛠️Operational Costs (the unsexy stuff)
Keeping NeuroNest going takes real-world tools:
Website hosting & email services
Secure payment platforms
Administrative support
Program management software (to keep offerings running smoothly)
We keep overhead lean and ethical. No fluff. No yacht payments. Just basics so we can show up fully.
5. 👩🏽🏫Paying Educators, Facilitators & Creators Fairly
We don’t believe in burnout-as-business-model. When guest facilitators, trauma coaches, or creative collaborators join our work, we pay them fairly—and prioritize folks who are:
Neurodivergent
Survivors
LGBTQIA+
BIPOC
Disabled
Living with chronic illness
Because healing is collective. And compensation is part of that.
🧾 Want a Line-by-Line Breakdown?
We’re working on an annual transparency report that includes:
Income sources (classes, grants, merch, etc.)
Percentage breakdowns for all major expense categories
Future goals and needs
Until then, you’re always welcome to email support@neuronestyoga.com and ask anything about where your money’s going.
Final Word: You’re Not Just Donating—You’re Co-Creating
When you donate to NeuroNest, you’re helping someone attend their first yoga class since trauma.
You’re giving a grieving mother her first moment of peace in weeks.
You’re paying for captions that let a deaf survivor participate in group healing.
You’re funding freedom.
And that? That’s sacred.
