We need to say this loud and clear—not just for legal reasons, but for your safety and empowerment:
NeuroNest Yoga is not therapy.
It is therapeutic, deeply so. But it is not a clinical mental health service.
🧠 Here’s What We Don’t Do:
Diagnose
Prescribe
Treat mental illness
Provide crisis intervention
Replace therapy or psychiatry
Even if you feel seen, heard, or emotionally moved (and we hope you do), that doesn’t mean this is clinical care.
🧘♀️ Here’s What We Do Offer:
Nervous system education
Trauma-informed movement & stillness
Somatic grounding practices
Breathwork (when safe)
Safe space to feel and explore your body’s signals
Space to cry, stim, freeze, or rest
A community built on respect, choice, and consent
💬 But My Facilitator Is a Therapist IRL…
That may be true. Many of us wear multiple hats.
But when we show up at NeuroNest Yoga—we’re wearing our educator, facilitator, or guide hats, not our clinical ones.
That means:
We’re not keeping medical records.
We’re not creating treatment plans.
We’re not covered under clinical licensure here.
This space is educational, somatic, and restorative. Not clinical.
🤝 We Strongly Support Therapy
We love therapists. We refer to therapists. We go to therapy ourselves.
We encourage you to use our sessions to complement your mental health journey—not replace it.
Want help finding a therapist? Reach out to support@neuronestyoga.com—we’ll do our best to connect you with sliding-scale, trauma-informed options.
📍 Required California Legal Statement:
NeuroNest Yoga is not a licensed medical provider. We do not offer treatment, diagnosis, or therapy services under the laws of the State of California. We provide educational, somatic, and supportive services that complement—but do not replace—clinical mental health care.
Final Word: You Deserve Both
You can cry here.
You can shake here.
You can remember things you’ve buried and grieve the truths you’ve long ignored.
You can do deep, meaningful work here.
But you’ll never be pressured to turn it into a “breakthrough.”
We hold you—but we don’t handle you.
That’s the boundary. That’s the safety. That’s the difference.
