🕊 Your Rights in This Space
A Trauma-Informed Bill of Rights for the Neuronest Yoga Healing Community
Introduction
When you enter Neuronest Yoga, you are stepping into a space built on compassion, safety, and respect. Healing requires trust, and trust is strengthened when each person knows that their autonomy and humanity are honored.
This document lays out your unalienable rights—what you are always entitled to in this space—alongside the privileges that may be available but are not owed. Knowing the difference matters: rights cannot be taken away; privileges can shift depending on circumstance or consent.
🌸 Your Rights (Non-Negotiable, Always Honored)
The Right to Safety
You have the right to physical, emotional, and psychological safety here. No harm, abuse, or exploitation will be tolerated.
The Right to Autonomy
Your choices about your body, voice, and healing are yours alone. Consent is honored at every step.
The Right to Information
You deserve clear explanations of practices, tools, and expectations so you can make informed decisions.
The Right to Boundaries
Saying yes or no is always respected. Your boundaries are valid and never questioned.
The Right to Dignity
You are more than your trauma. You will always be treated with respect, free of shame, judgment, or labels.
The Right to Expression
You may cry, laugh, remain silent, or speak freely. All authentic expressions of your journey are welcome.
The Right to Rest & Pace
You control the rhythm of your healing. Pausing, slowing down, or stepping back are your choices.
The Right to Growth
Your healing belongs to you. There is no timeline, pressure, or expectation to “move on.”
The Right to Privacy
Your story, your identity, and your process are protected. What you share is held in confidentiality.
The Right to Belong
You have the right to be here as you are, without earning your worthiness or proving your pain.

🌿 Privileges (Conditional, Not Guaranteed)
These are supportive offerings that may enhance your healing, but unlike rights, they can shift based on space, resources, or community agreements:
Access to specific tools, rituals, or materials.
Participation in group activities or shared circles.
Extended session time beyond what is standard.
Optional accommodations (such as extra breaks or flexible scheduling).
Privileges are invitations, not entitlements. They are given with care but can be adjusted to honor safety, balance, and the well-being of the entire community.
🌟 Why the Difference Matters
In a trauma-informed space, rights are universal and exist to protect your autonomy and dignity. Privileges are flexible—they may enhance your journey, but they are never a substitute for your inherent rights.
By naming this difference openly, the Neuronest affirms that you are never dependent on privilege to feel safe, respected, and seen. Your autonomy is always honored.
Closing
This Bill of Rights is a living promise. It exists so that when you step into the Neuronest, you can rest in the truth that your safety, dignity, and voice are not negotiable.
🌙 You are not here by permission—you are here by right.
